Award for Community Service in Education
Kevin
Drysdale's life has been one committed to service in education, both
professionally and as a community volunteer. He retired in April, 2004 from
his position as Director of Education at the Western Quebec School Board,
after 35 years of service working in virtually every sector of education
including teaching, Adult and Vocational Education, and complimentary
services. Aside from his many accomplishments during his tenure at the WQSB,
Kevin was also very active in serving the community through volunteer
efforts such as:

Founding
Member of the board of directors for Cure, the forerunner to Outaouais
Alliance

Represented the Education sector on the Health
and Social services committee of the Outaouais Alliance

Member of
the Provincial Education committee
- Represented the English-speaking
community of West Quebec on the board of directors of la Régie
Régionale de la Santé et des Services Sociaux
