New Residents Program Logo

The staff at the Regional Association of West Quebecers would like to say a special thank you to Mrs. Ilse-Marie Gates, who created the program logo seen below:

The New Residents' logo signifies the following:

• The lily represents newcomers moving into the province – in this case, a family - moving into the province of Quebec, which has Canada at its heart.
   

• The family group portrays people of all ages.
   

• The encircling words represent West Quebecers taking care of their concerns. The Regional Association of West Quebecers safeguarding the concerns of English speaking new residents.

Mrs. Gates' fondest wish is "for you to feel safe and protected in your new surroundings…"

Ilse-Marie Gates is an active volunteer in the community, a board director for the association, and a significant contributor to the New Residents Committee.
