5th Annual West Quebecers Community
Awards
honouring outstanding contributions
made in the English-speaking community
of West Quebec
. The awards will be
presented at the 2008 awards banquet on
Friday, October 24 at the Aydelu Centre
in the
Aylmer sector of Gatineau.

West Quebecers Award recipients have
volunteered time and energy toward
improving their community and have made
a difference in the Outaouais.

The Community Awards celebrate the spirit
of volunteerism as an essential element
of our hometowns and honour the outstanding
contributions made by outstanding people.

Génération 2008 -
Become a Participant!

The West Quebecers and the Quebec Community Groups Network are looking for enthusiastic young people between the ages of 18-29 to attend a provincial youth forum on September 27-28 in Montreal to discuss issues of concern to their community. Funding for travel and accommodation costs will be made available for a limited number of participants to attend the Forum.

Evaluation for levels:  September 10 and 11 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the College

FRENCH CONVERSATION
Levels 1-2, Mondays & Wednesdays/ Levels 3-4-5, Tuesdays & Thursdays
All courses are 10 weeks, 2 evenings per week, total of 40 hours
6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Cost: $275.00

FRENCH GRAMMAR (Basic/Intermediate/Advanced)
This is the course you’ve been looking for to improve your written French.

Tuesdays, total of 30 hours, 6:30–9:30 p.m. Cost: $200.00
FRENCH (Preparation for government tests - levels A, B,C)

Mondays and Wednesdays, total 40 hours
6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Cost: $ 275.00
All courses start week of September 22, 2008.

Cost: $150 for one night a week for eight weeks; Two levels: Beginners and Intermediates
Beginners: Monday evenings 7 - 9:30 p.m. and Intermediates on Tuesdays 7 - 9:30 p.m.
Start date: September 15

Enrolment: Currently at Nouvel Horizon; 8 a.m - 4 p.m. Evaluation of level of French. Special hours for registration 9

Cost:  Course is free; $30 for enrolment; material around $50 Two evenings a week 6:30 – 9:30 pm for the year.
