Philemon Wright High School, in Hull, is planning four dramatic productions:
December 2,3.
 
The Lady Cried Murder,

The Real Inspector Hound, by Tom Stoppard.
December 10, 11. 
Black Comedy, by Peter Shaffer.
All performances will be in the Philemon Wright Auditorium, starting at 7 pm.

December 3.  “Celebration”, an exhibition of icons by Christine Granger at Galerie McKenzie Marcotte, 26 Sully Road in Wakefield.  The exhibition opens December 3 at 7 pm. The gallery is open weekends from 10 am to 5pm and at all other times by chance or by appointment.
Christine Granger has been painting icons since 1980.  She says: "Although I love this ancient Christian art form, I consider all art my province and heritage. I am moved and influenced by the work of many artists past and present. As for purpose and motivation, I think of my paintings as ‘gospel music’: a witness to Christ’s grace and truth."
