“Celebration”, an exhibition
of icons by Christine Granger
at
Galerie McKenzie Marcotte,
26 Sully Road in Wakefield. The exhibition opens December 3
at 7 pm.
The gallery is open weekends from 10 am to 5pm and at all
other times by chance or by appointment.
Christine Granger has been painting icons since 1980. She
says: "Although I love this ancient Christian art form, I
consider all art my province and heritage. I am moved and
influenced by the work of many artists past and present. As
for purpose and motivation, I think of my paintings as
‘gospel music’: a witness to Christ’s grace and truth."
