December 16.  Annual YWAR Rupert Christmas concert.  Free admission with donation of non-perishable food item.  Bring gift, clearly marked with your child's name, for Santa's sack.  Interested performers should contact Sue at 819-459-1293.

December 16-17.  Potter Paula Murray holds her annual open house at her studio at 774 Meech Lake Road, from 10.00 am. to 5.00 pm.For information call 613-827-0399.  Paula Murray was recently awarded a five-year contract to produce a porcelain vase for the recipient of the National Arts Centre Award, presented at the Governor General's Performing Arts Awards ceremony every fall.

December 16.  The Annual Breakfast with Santa, sponsored by Chelsea United Church and the Municipality of Chelsea, will be held at Chelsea Elementary School from 9.00 to 11.00 am.  Singing by the Chelsea United Church Choir and entertainment by guests from the School's A4 program.  For reservations call the Municipality at 819-827-1124

December 17.  Grace Community Bible Church offers Road to Bethlehem, a livng nativity presented every 30 minutes at Rolling Acres Farm, C260 Heath Road, Shawville.
