Every last Thursday of each month, (except July, August and
December), Ron Moores and the Back 40 Band host the "Back 40
Stage". On Thursday, January 29th., they began their fourth year
at Rasputin’s.
The musicians of Back 40 come from both Quebec and Ontario. Ron
Moores resides in Cantley. The Band broadcasts on CKCU-FM
Community Radio (93.1) at noon on Saturdays.

Church, 62 Promenade du Portage, Gatineau.

St. James is an
historic church in Hull. The purpose of the concert is to raise funds for
this church and for the First United Church in Port Credit, Ontario. The
organist
at
St. James, Mr. Sladden, is looking at the possibility of an annual workshop
which would include a special musical event such as this concert.

Christ Church Strawberry Fest. Sunday afternoon on the rectory lawn
of Christ Church, Aylmer, 101 Symmes Street from 12 noon to 3 p.m.
Sandwiches will be served for lunch along with strawberries for dessert.
Live Celtic and classical background music featuring local talent.
Activities for children include: Puppets, hands-on clay sculpturing and an
ice cream booth.
