5. Book Launch and Chelsea Cemetery Tour.
The Mayor and Council of Chelsea will hold ann inauguration
ceremony at the Old Chelsea Protestant Burial Ground at 11:30
pm in connection with Chelsea’s 130th Anniversary
Community Days Festival. The ceremony will be followed by
a book signing: Carol Martin will be
launching her book In Memory of
Chelsea’s Historic Cemeteries.
Ms. Martin will conduct two cemetery tours, at 12:15
and 1 pm.

June 11. The Gatineau Valley Historical Society announces
that Bobby Watt, master stonemason residing in La Pêche,
will conduct a tour of the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa.
Bobby Watt’s team of stonemasons has been involved in the
restoration of the Centre Block and in the current Library
of Parliament project.

The
Pontiac Artists' Studio Tour is an annual juried art
exhibition.
Twenty
professional artists welcome you into 17 studios on this
16th annual
art tour through the Pontiac region of Quebec (on the north
shore of the Ottawa River, west of Ottawa).
Admission is absolutely free and everyone
is welcome. Artworks are on exhibit and for sale.
Individual studios are also open year round. Call to visit.
Brochures with maps are available the Regional Association
of West Quebecers office, 53 Principale St.
in Aylmer, and at all stores and gas stations along Highway
148 between Aylmer and Fort Coulonge. The Tour route is
clearly marked by road signs featuring our logo of magenta
and blue brush strokes on a white background. Flags of the
