Brennans Hill Golden Age Club celebration for the
St. Jean Baptiste Day weekend
at the Heritage Hall, beginning at 10 am.
Games and activities for children, and contests for adults. The
highlight will be a first-ever Karaoke competition, for both
children and adults. The Karaoke will be provided by “Bobby and
Louise Karaoke”, who will also bring the judges. Children entering
the competition will choose two songs, adults must sing four, two on
each night. Children, $5 both days, fee covers a meal. Adults, $10
on Friday (with hot and cold buffet), $5 on Saturday for activities,
and $5 for spaghetti supper in the evening. Prizes: children,
$35.00 for the winner; adults, $100.00 for the winner, $75.00 for
the runner-up.

From the grandeur of Mount Robinson to the melting of the Columbia
ice fields, Chelsea artist Michael Sproule takes a new look at the
Canadian Rockies; the latest in his Alpine series of paintings.
Galerie McKenzie Marcotte is located at 26 Sully Road in the village
of Wakefield. From Ottawa, take highway 5 north, then highway 105 to
Wakefield. The gallery is open weekends from 10 am to 5 pm and at
