"L'Expo-vente Loto Quebec. Les Artistes de l'Ouest."
Collective exhibition of artists of the Outaouais at the
Galerie Montcalm,
25 Laurier, Gatineau (Hull Sector).
In order to provide equitable support for professional
artists working in all the regions of Québec,
Loto-Québec has entrusted the organization of this major
event to the Galerie Montcalm. The exhibition has been
carefully selected by a jury from more than sixty works
submitted. Among the artists participating are Carol
Bretzloff, Kathryn Drysdale, Rebecca Mason, Reid McLachlan,
Marcio Melo, Marie-France Nitzki, and Claudette Spence.
Further aims of the exhibition are to provide a body of work
from which Loto-Québec can select in order to diversify its
collection, and to encourage businesses in the region to
support local professional artists by acquiring their works.
The works submitted by the following artists have been
selected for acquisition by the Loto-Québec
collection:
Shahla
Bahrami, Louise Boulay, Carol Bretzloff, Jacques
Charbonneau, Ginette Daigneault, Pierre Demonsand, Allen
Egan, Margit Hideg, Anna Luczak, Monique Pilon, Sylvain
