May 6. Solstice Books & Music opening in Wakefield at 721 Riverside Drive, Wakefield.  Under the direction of Roberta Bouchard, it will stock fiction, children's books, travel, reference and non-fiction books, in both French and English.  There will be a music section featuring local talent, an art wall and cards for sale showing the work of local artists.  The store will take orders for books not in stock.  Bouchard describes the store's mission as providing "a stimulating atmosphere and cultural meeting place where people of different backgrounds and age groups can all find something of interest."
