Constructed in 1903 on the corner of Main and Dalhousie, this impressive house with its circular corner porch and 'widow's walk' was built by George McKay. Its extensive property supported a vegetable garden and an orchard. Outbuildings included a stable, sheds and a coach house. (Information from Diane Aldred's book "Aylmer, Quebec: Its Heritage, son patrimoine") Our offices with a board/meeting room and three enclosed offices are located on the main floor. How to Find Us Heading west into the Aylmer sector of Gatineau, Quebec, on Principale Street, keep going straight past the Galeries d'Aylmer shopping center towards the Marina. We are on the right at 53 Principale (corner of Dalhousie). Parking is available on Principale or in a lot at the back of the house off Dalhousie. (click here for map) Office Services Our members and other non-profit organizations are welcome to use our fax and photocopy machines.
Our meeting room, for up to 16 people is available to other non-profits by pre-arrangement for free. For a nominal fee private groups can rent it during the day.
